About me
My mission: to enable you to align with yourself
Resilience.
It is the word that describes my personality and my existence. I have a life journey that is both ordinary and extraordinary. I was born and raised in Geneva. After studying law in Switzerland and the United States, I became a lawyer and I have been working in finance for over 20 years. At the same time, passionate about the psychology of human beings, I also trained in coaching.
On the personal side, I have 3 children and I divorced after 15 years of marriage. This separation happened following deep questioning that had been pursuing me for a very long time. Despite a comfortable life, I had not been happy in my relationship for many years, I was living the life that others wanted for me and I was doing what others expected of me. Nothing but ordinary and what many couples experience in fact.
Deep down, I was not aligned with myself.
Over time, I accepted the idea of staying in my unfulfilling relationship, just to be close to my children. As many people do. At some point, the decision to separate became more obvious, life having shown me that it was possible to live in complete accordance with my values. Leaving an apparently harmonious life for the one of a divorced father, what's more, in a conservative and preppy environment like mine, it was daring. It was even sacrilege.
In retrospect, when I think of the turmoil and changes that my decision brought, I look back with emotion on the journey I took and tell myself how happy I am to have been able to accomplish it. Since then I have wanted to offer my experience to other people who are wondering about the same questions without having found the answers.
